About the podcast
Your host:
My name is Alexander Goldman. In the past decade, I ran an AI-powered dating app startup, built VR games, and spent 5 years as a professional futurist. Now, I’m a professional UX Researcher.
Over the course of my career, I’ve interviewed hundreds of startup founders, technology users, and influential thinkers, from Swedish billionaires to gig workers in Chicago.
For the past few years, I’ve been writing a substack called “The Interface of Us”.
So why start this podcast?
Americans are lonelier and less connected than ever.
It literally keeps me up at night sometimes, thinking about how wrong it is that in our world of so much social technology, it seems to have an adverse impact on the lives of many. Our modern world is so complex and interdisciplinary. I craved a way to help people understand the forces impacting their lives so they can feel empowered and excited about their own future.
